Windsor’s The S’Aints Returns for Fundraising Holiday Concert

The S'Aints

Windsor’s super-group, The S’Aints, will be taking The Colosseum stage Friday December 22 at 8 pm for a family-friendly all-ages Sleighing Hunger charity concert.

Local and world-renowned talents are showcased with The S’Aints founding members Jody Raffoul and Tea Party drummer, Jeff Burrows and are joined by Wes Buckley, Kelly “Mr. Chill” Hoppe, David Cyrenne, Kelly Authier, Marty Bak, Liz Robinson and Stephanie Baker. The show also features special guests ‘The Sinners’ choir, ‘The Horns of a Dilemma’, and ‘The Twisted Sisters’.

Putting their own rock flavour to some traditional holiday tunes and rock classics, The S’Aints will perform songs from their current record including “Last Christmas”, “Run Run Rudolph”, and “Gymnopedie”.

This collaborative concert brings together The S’Aints, St. Clair College and Caesars Windsor Cares to raise funds for local area food banks. Proceeds from this year’s concert tickets and an accompanying holiday CD will benefit Unemployed Help Centre, Outreach for Hunger in Chatham, The Welcome Centre Shelter for Women, Windsor Homes Coalition and the Goodfellows.

“It is a labour of love,” said Jeff Burrows. “The band comes together to make great music that lifts the spirit and works with our partners to raise funds for those in need during the holiday season.” The past three concerts have raised over $135,000 for local non-profits and foodbanks.

A great holiday tradition for the entire family, audiences will be treated to their favourite holiday songs, with a twist, performed with the energy and ‘grit’ of these rock n’ roll talents.

Tickets start at $20 at ticketmaster.ca and the Box Office. CDs will be available for sale on iTunes, online at sleighinghunger.com, St. Clair College campuses and throughout Windsor and Essex County locations for $10 each.
