The news agency PTI reported that Bollywood singer KK died of cardiac arrest, referring to the preliminary findings of a post-mortem report. Police also said there was no “evil act” behind the singer’s death.
The officer told PTI, “The initial report indicated that the singer died of myocardial infarction. There was no malicious act behind his death. The clinical examination also found that the singer had been suffering from prolonged heart problems.”
The final autopsy report will be available 72 hours later.
KK was known for songs like “Pal” and “Yaron”, which were a hit among teens in the late ’90s, and were often heard during school, college, and teen farewells.

The staff of the Nazrul Manch in South Kolkata said the venue was packed during the KK concert.
Many on social media claim that the air conditioner wasn’t working in the venue and that the heat got too hot during the party.
