‘Princess Bride’ star Carrie Elwes has been airlifted to hospital after being bitten by a rattlesnake

Carrie Eloise He got way more than he bargained for when a day of yard work turned into a helicopter trip to the hospital after a rattlesnake bite.

Sources associated with Cary told TMZ… the “Princess Bride” star was airlifted to UCLA’s Ronald Reagan Medical Center on Saturday after being bitten by a rattlesnake near his Malibu home. We were told he was working outside when the accident happened – it is not clear where he was bitten.

Anyway…our sources say it was so serious that Carrie sought immediate medical attention, with people around him telling us they felt it was a life-threatening injury.

The good news… Carrie will make a full recovery and get the help he needs in time.

Carrey famously had an injury and was hospitalized on the set of “PB” – not once, but twice actually… He caught a cold by accident during a fake KO scene and required stitches. He also broke his toe at one point, and was rocking during most of filming.
