With the new orders of the Puerto Rico government to deal with the increase in cases of COVID-19 corona virus, a Puerto Rico police officer used official equipment to make racist remarks and slander.
In the Kondato area, businesses were closed at 9:00 pm, using a patrol loudspeaker to guide patrol citizens and restaurant owners.
In the video where the situation was recorded, a person was asked to respond at 8:00 pm, at which point the agent became upset and began to respond.
“Don’t be funny, go back to your country to make those comments,” commented the uniformed man from within the patrol. However, the agent continued without stopping, “Say nonsense, someone who doesn’t even take a room always comes from another country.
Changes to the new administrative order began last Friday as COVID-19 corona virus was reported to have increased on the island. Businesses are closed at 9 a.m. and a curfew order at 10 a.m. prohibits the sale of liquor from 9:00 p.m.
