February 11, 2012
Hedley fans were treated to an immense light show with incredible sound at Victoria’s Save On Foods Memorial Centre on the evening of Saturday Febuary 11th – a show that started early for the young fans looking forward to seeing the pop sensation with guests Classified, Karl Wolf and Kay.
Heldley's latest compilation of unique song writing coupled with enthusiastic instrumental back up is “Storms”. An album reflecting their energy and resolve to continue being the front runners in today’s pop scene. Packed in tight with the next generation's rockers, I and the hundreds of enthusiastic fans crane our necks as two immense screens shimmer to life. One by one the members of Hedley, Canada’s hottest pop rock band, wash ashore in a short film based on the current tour titled “Shipwrecked”. Their 2012 tour that cross’ to and fro across all of Canada celebrating the success of their fourth album and a strong future in the music biz.
Disappearing into the throngs of neon clad ladies an extended platform displaying front man Jake Hoggard’s enthusiastic dance moves just out of reach a swooning crowd. After such a performance and positive response from the crowd it’s safe to say Hedley will be back again to rock on.
