Event Details

The Windsor Symphony Orchestra (WSO) and University of Windsor, School of Creative Arts (SoCA) are teaming up for a stellar concert featuring the WSO orchestra conducted by Daniel Wiley and UWindsor alumni and current students conducted by Richard Householder!

The concert includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Flower Duet from Lakmé, and four works for our massed choirs (100+singers!): including Mozart’s Ave verum corpus, Verdi’s Va pensiero, from Nabucco, and Beethoven’s tour de force Choral Fantasy for piano, vocal soloists, chorus, and orchestra!

Featured soloists include bass-baritone Steven Henrikson; Music Alumni: pianist Alde Caloncagong, soprano Amelia Daigle, mezzo-soprano Erin Armstrong Dickau, tenor Colin James, baritone Adam Iannetta and the Alumni Choir directed by Prof. emeritus Richard Householder. In addition, you’ll experience performances by current students Matthew Lepain-trumpet, David Katich-McNamara-baritone, and the members of the UWindsor Chamber Choir and University Singers directed by Dr. Bruce Kotowich!
