The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) continues in 2012 with its tradition of something for everyone at the Toronto Star Bandshell concerts. From rockers, pop stars and a little bit of everything else, the CNE bandshell concert series remains a top free attraction for fairgoers at Canada’s largest exhibition. Highlights for the 2012 series include the recently reunited Tea Party, 3OH!3, The Arkells, Canadian rock legends Trooper, Motown’s The Spinner, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and American Pie singer Don McLean.

The bandshell was built in 1936 and over the years has been host to many famous acts, including Guy Lombardo, Louis Armstrong, The Guess Who, INXS, Men At Work, Joni Mitchell and Bob Newhart. All CNE bandshell concerts are free with fair admission. The 2012 CNE runs from August 17 to September 3 with the bandshell concerts offered from August 18 to September 1.
