Did you get your geek on?

Windsor ComiCon took place last week at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor. A wide array of pop culture heroes and celebrities visited the Rose City for two days of meetings, sessions and overall fun with their fans on September 29 and 30.

Some of the guests included veteran actor Tony Todd (best known for playing the cult horror villain Candyman), former pro wrestler Mark Henry (WWE hall-of-famer), voice actor Phil LaMarr (Samurai Jack, Futurama, MAD TV), and Saskatchewan actor Tyler Mane (Michael Myers in Rob Zombie’s reboot of the Halloween horror series).  Other celebs included David Yost (Blue Power Ranger, Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers) Cal Dodd (Wolverine (X-Men: Animated Series)) Pat Mastroianni, Stacie Mistysyn and Dan Woods (Degrassi High) and comic books artists and creators like Larry Hama (Creator, Writer – G.I. Joe), Scott Hanna (Inker – Spider-Man, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman) and Richard Comely, (Creator, Artist – Captain Canuck).

Thousands enjoyed seeing the stars, but also took part in cosplay and costume contests, retro gaming and escape rooms and displays such as giant inflatable dinosaurs and ghostbusting Ghostbuster characters in a unique experience.
