American music producer, songwriter and musician, Keith Harris (Black Eyed Peas) will be making three appearances during the North by Northeast Festival and Conference (NXNE) at the Hyatt Regency in Toronto. On June 13, Harris will moderate a conversation between artist Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness) and Aidan Tracey (President of Acosta Mosaic Group) about what it is like to produce music in this day and age during Tomorrow Never Knows: Producing Music in 2013.
Later that day, media personality Rudy Blair of 680 News will conduct an exclusive celebrity interview with Harris, titled Behind The Beat: Keith Harris. The interview will give people an up-close and personal view of Harris, as he gives Blair the inside scoop about touring around the world, writing for Madonna and getting creative with Usher. Harris will also be the special guest at the SOCAN Emerging Songwriters Workshop, which is a ticketed event on June 15.
Harris is the powerhouse behind Grammy Award-winning hits including “Meet Me Halfway” and “Imma Be” by The Black Eyed Peas, “American Boy” by Estelle and “Be Okay” by Chrisette Michele. His album credits include Michael Jackson, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Chris Brown, The Pussycat Dolls, Earth Wind and Fire, John Legend, Jully Black and many more.
