BARCELONA – Barcelona on Monday announced its signing with Neymar through its attorneys, closing all civil and labor disputes with the Brazilian PSG footballer outside the court and in compliance. The Parsia Club report, therefore, states that both parties signed a transaction agreement to terminate all remaining judicial proceedings: three claims within the jurisdiction of labor and one civil procedure.
In this way, the four-year conflict ended when Neymar left the club to PSG in August 2017, claiming that the club had not paid him the remainder of the renewal premium and that this was the beginning of a long legal battle.
One year after the Brazilian player’s last year in Barcelona, Social Court 15 rejected his request for a popular signing bonus, in addition to forcing him to return 6.7 million euros to Barcelona, and four months later the Supreme Court concluded that the contract had been forcibly awarded to a third party in connection with the transfer. The court confirmed that the case facing Ney and his parents on fraud charges should be handled by a Barcelona court, with the footballer’s lawyers deciding to negotiate an out-of-court settlement to close all disputes, thus demanding a two-year prison sentence and a 10 million fine.
Liaison between the lawyers of the two parties began in May, one of which established negotiations, through which Persia will pardon the demand of 16.7 million euros, if Neymar resigns for another 47 million for his part. It happened after a test in which the footballer claimed 3.5 3.5 million had been settled.
With this deal, the relationship between Barcelona and Neymar has been closed, and the player has already pulled out of a sporting perspective after signing a renewal for PSG until 2026. The Brazilians came to Camp Nou in the summer of 2013 and for four consecutive seasons he played in 186 games for Persia, was Leo Messi’s best partner, scored 105 goals in the company of Luis Suarez and won a total of 10 titles in early August 2017, paying PSG 222 million euros.
Euros in his dismissal section, led to various legal conflicts in the divorce, finally, ended this Monday.
The official, summary note issued by the Parsia Club is as follows:
F.C. Barcelona are reportedly closed outside the court and in connection with various labor and civil cases that have been opened with Brazilian player Neymar da Silva Santos Jr.
Thus, the club and the player have signed a transaction agreement to end the pending legal proceedings between the two parties: three claims within the jurisdiction of labor and one civil action.
Neymar was an FC Barcelona player from the 2013/14 season to 2016/17. Later, he signed for the Paris Saint-Germain team he still plays for.
