Alex Rodriguez and businessman Mark Lore will buy Timber Valves

Sources told ESPN that former Major League Baseball player Alex Rodriguez and billionaire Mark Lore are finalizing a deal to buy Minnesota Timberwolves from majority owner Glenn Taylor.

Taylor will have full control of the team for two years before Rodriguez and Lore take charge in 2023, according to Adrian Wozniacki on his Twitter account, @Vojjespen.

“We look forward to entering this stage with Glenn Taylor. Our respect for him and the legacy he has built lay an incredible foundation for things to come. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to meet the organization, the talented team and their incredible fans,” Ordo and Lore added.

ESPN sources said the purchase price of the deal would be in the range of $ 1.5 billion.

When Taylor bought the rights in 1995, the price was $ 88 million.
