Sources told ESPN that former Major League Baseball player Alex Rodriguez and billionaire Mark Lore are finalizing a deal to buy Minnesota Timberwolves from majority owner Glenn Taylor.
Taylor will have full control of the team for two years before Rodriguez and Lore take charge in 2023, according to Adrian Wozniacki on his Twitter account, @Vojjespen.

ESPN sources said the purchase price of the deal would be in the range of $ 1.5 billion.
When Taylor bought the rights in 1995, the price was $ 88 million.
