American actor Ray Liotta has died at the age of 67.
His publicist said Thursday that Lotta died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic while filming a movie.
The actor is known around the world for his role in the 1990 film Martin Scorsese Goodfellows (Titled “Good Guys” in Latin America and “One of Us” in Spain).
According to Variety magazine, Goodfellows It revolutionized the gangster genre and was a huge critical and commercial success.

Born in New Jersey in 1954, he was adopted six months after being abandoned in an orphanage after birth.
He began his television career in the late 1970s and came up with his first major film roles in “Something Wild” (1986), in which he appeared with Jeff Daniels and Melanie Griffith, for which he was a Globe. Gold and “The Field of Dreams” (1989), with Kevin Costner.

Liotta, who was once married, leaves behind a 23-year-old daughter.
